One of the first major steps in order to build an audience is to create a brand for yourself as an artist.

The artist’s objective is to catch the fan’s attention so they can grasp onto their craft and future projects. Displaying an image to their audience is what truly makes fans love the work that is made time and time again. It is based on style and how you present yourself on stage as well as how you present yourself to the audience you are pleasing. Also the fans should be able to search the music of their choosing because they should be able to resonate with the music they enjoy listening to on a daily basis. The next step is networking with other creators in order to build a brand the artist can call their own music in order to gain a larger audience. When you give out contact information, you never know who can assist that person with their music career to the next level and succeed at a tremendous rate. When you create these bonds and business with artists and artist managers they help you uphold that image financially in order to pay photographers, studio time, and etc. Normally, a plethora of artists go to big cities that are trending in order to create a buzz for themselves in order for people to remember their names in the future. Many social media sites help artists go viral and give them an opportunity to do shows, showcase their talent, or possibly get signed. Facebook is one of the best resources to market and stream music on any social platform. When it comes to artists everyone has different perspectives and tips in order to profit from music and share aspirations and goals with that person. Collaborations are also important when it comes to opening your mind to other genres in music than what you normally listen to everyday. It creates different images for the audience to think about how they might portray the artist ultimately as a whole. Most people collaborate  either because they have a similar sound that they resonate with or their complete opposites and willing to try something brand new to see how people might feel about it. Also booking shows are highly important as well to showcase the talent and how you control a crowd when you are performing at your highest peak as well.
